Location Information

The University of Alaska Anchorage is a comprehensive metropolitan university situated at the heart of a vast and magnificent state. UAA is located in the heart of Anchorage, the largest city in the state with around 300,000 residents.

Helpful Information

Temperatures in Anchorage are not as extreme as in other parts of the state. For example, the average temperature in July is 65 degrees while the average temperature in January is 20 degrees.
